Coming to the end of 2018, our year 9s are looking to the future and are about to embark on their senior schooling.
Last week, a small group were lucky enough to attend QUT Gardens Point for a hands on, interactive learning day to have a taster of university courses.
These ranged from science to engineering to creative industries.
We spent our day putting together a marketing strategy, filtering water, solving a plastic problem, building tall structures, code robots to recycle and even fighting off a zombie apocalypse!
The size of the lecture theatre was a surprise, as the one classroom could fit our whole school twice and students were impressed with the facilities available for them to use on the day.
Thanks to all students involved!
