Drama Club
As well as honing our dramatic skills through improvisation and scripted drama, Holland Park State High's Drama Club also participated in the annual Youth Theatre Sports Competitions. The competition is held in the first half of the year and sees schools from both the state and private sector compete in teams against each other in a series of improvisation games.
The Drama Club is open to all ages through the school and helps promote personal confidence lateral thinking and group co-operation.
Talent Quest
The Talent Quest is broken up into seven key categories which are:
- Music
- Vocal
- Instrumental
- Dance
- Hip Hop
- Drama/Comedy
- Bands
This year included a Junior (years 7-9) and Senior (years 10 -12) division of categories. All contestants are considered by a panel of three, who have links to the entertainment industry.
